Hej!
We have finally managed to put up our tree, and thought you might like to see it. The eagle-eyed amongst you will notice that the bottom 12 inches are bare, and this is wholly due to the cat 🙂
Following a totally bonkers three months we are now closing for two weeks, during which time I will be mostly watching A Muppet’s Christmas Carol, drinking schnapps and crying at the bit where Michael Caine asks the small rabbit to go and buy him a turkey.
With a little time on my hands (hopefully) I am also going to spend the weekend doing a little spot of recreational baking, and my Christmas gift to you is the easiest recipe tweak in history; when you are making your mincepies, add a generous blob of marzipan before you spoon in the filling. It will transform an already delish treat into a sumptuous overdose of Christmassiness.
I cannot thank you all enough for your love and support this year, and we wish you and your families a wonderful Christmas. I mean, I do love being surrounded by an office full of Christmas decorations all year round, but it is you, our fabulous customers that make this business such a joy, and I am truly the luckiest girl in the world. Also huge love to the office elves, Mummy, Gemma, Lottie and Sada who have worked SO hard to get your parcels out quickly and safely.
Lastly, for a little extra Christmas cheer, I thought you might to see a picture of Ross, who was very happy to model a pair of our Inishmore Handwarmers; apparently they are the only thing that will keep your blood supply going on a cold building site in December.
