Here at Hyggestyle we are delighted to introduce the Danish tradition of papercuts. The best known practitioner of this lovely and very hyggelig art form was Hans Christian Andersen, who used to make paper cuttings while he was telling a fairy tale, then give them to the children listening to him.
Our wonderful swan paper cut looks wonderful hung in a window all year round; based on Han Christian Andersen’s tale of the ugly duckling, it is hung on twine, and is presented on a recycled kraft gift card, so your recipient can store it safely for Christmas year after year.
Our paper cuts are designed and made here exclusively at Hyggestyle, and are made of FSC certified paper. Packaged in biodegradable wrapping.
