Here at Hyggestyle we are delighted to introduce the Danish tradition of papercuts, or “papirklip”. The best known practitioner of this lovely and very hyggelig art form was Hans Christian Andersen, who used to make paper cuttings while he was telling a fairy tale, then give them to the children listening to him.
Our wonderful paper cut mobile is presented on a greetings card and looks wonderful hung in a window and spinning in the breeze all year round; the traditonal Danish Christmas heart is hung on pretty red and white baker’s twine, and is presented on a recycled kraft gift card, so your recipient can store it safely for Christmas year after year.
Our delicate paper cuts are designed and made here exclusively at Hyggestyle, and are made of FSC certified paper.
