Description
This lovely coaster, designed by Bex and made by our oh-so-talented Yvonne, features a traditional Viking longship with a striped red and white sail (loosely based on the Oseberg ship, if anyone is interested!). Did you know that the reason the sails were striped is because the fabric was woven on upright looms and then had to be stitched together? (I’ll stop with the interesting facts now 🙂 )
