These are just the easiest Easter treats ever, and are perfect for grubby little hands to knock up after school. Obviously we like to add a little glug of rum to some of the mixture to make it slightly more palatable for grownups, but I think the alcohol is offset by the fact that shredded wheat are full of fibre 😀

Ingredients

Makes 12

225g Plain Chocolate

4 Pillows of Shredded Wheat

Bag of Mini Eggs

Paper Cupcake Cases

Method

1. Start by breaking your chocolate into a microwavable bowl or saucepan. Melt the chocolate fully and stir every few minutes to totally break the pieces.

2. Shred the wheat with your hands and gently stir into the melted chocolate.

3. Line a plate with your paper cases and divide the mixture between them. Press 3 eggs into the nests and leave to cool in the fridge for an hour or until they have completely set.

And there you have it! Cheap/simple but yummy Easter treats! Thanks to the lovely people over at Gisela Graham xx
